November 1st…..
All of the Halloween, fall festival, trick-or-treating and pumpkin carving moments are now behind us. Three kids = 3 Fall Festivals + 3 Class Parties + 1 Pumpkin Hunt on the Farm + 1 Pumpkin Carving Neighborhood Party + 1 Fun filled night of trick-or-treating… and all that means is mama needs a strong cup of coffee.
If you’re like me, the past 4 days have been nonstop Halloween/Fall fun. I woke up this morning and realized that there is no party, no after-school commitment, no dinner plans and no rushing around to get kids here and there. I was able to relax and drink my VERY large cup of extra strong coffee and sigh a sigh of relief. WE MADE IT!!!
Now comes the fun part. Looking back at the pictures taken over the last couple days! All of the smiling faces, pumpkin goo covered hands, icing or chocolate covered cheeks and the sheer joy you can see from your kids as they experienced the last few days of the Halloween season.
I am so thankful for good friends that have allowed us to be a part of their annual festivities and the excellent schools and teachers that are a part of our lives. I am ready to move into the Thanksgiving season and overjoyed at all that our family has to be thankful for this year. What are you thankful for?
